Lolo Jones, who took home the USA and the World Champion in the event of a hurdle in 2013, has only achieved this feat by putting in a lot of effort and tremendous patience. Born to a single mother with five children, Jones had a difficult and difficult childhood. She lived with her mother at a basement church and was constantly on the go. Jones had to be moved to a different school each year up until her time in high school as a result of her nomadic life.
