Sutton Foster is an award-winning artist, performer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows - most recently the return of Violet and also played lead roles in the Broadway shows including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performance in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Star Search was her first TV appearance at the age of fifteen. Then she appeared in Bunheads and Psych and also Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. As a solo artist, Sutton has performed all over the United States in addition to internationally together with their musical director Michael Rafter... with songs from her first solo CD "Wish" as well as the follow-up CD "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Caf Carlyle." Sutton Foster has appeared on stage at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, the Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. Sutton Foster was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Ball State University in 2011. She is also on the faculty in Ball State University as a dance teacher and adviser. Since March of 2015 the new TVLand series "Younger", which was created by Darren Star is a hit.
